Southlake Machine Corporation disassembles and inspects all your jobs and offers a quote for all the needed work and completion time before any work is started. SMC also has a Quality Inspection team that inspects all parts and assembly that is correct and offers a QIT report at delivery.

Grinding

Southlake Machine Corporation offers complete grinding services, including chrome finishes. SMC offers Ra's as low as 3. Grind rolls up to 20" in diameter and up to 120" long. SMC can also grind rolls with a tapered finish.

Turning

Southlake Machine Corporation can turn parts as large as 18" in diameter and as long as 156". We specialize in turning and threading including metric threads, tapers, and dull of all major diameters..

Dynamic Balancing

Southlake Machine Corporation can dynamically balance any roll up to 6000#. SMC can meet any balancing specifications including Nema, ISO-G scale, API, and any government specifications. SMC pre-balances and finish balances any fabricated rolls upon completion.

Press

At Southlake Machine Corporation, we possess a massive 300-ton horizontal press. Our facility is fully equipped and capable of dismantling complex parts, as well as assembling challenging parts up to 175" inches in length.

Mill

Southlake Machine has a horizontal boring mill to manufacture all bearing boxes,s as well as line bore any parts. Our facility can mill and cut keyways on a 36" table.

Pick-up and Delivery

Southlake Machine Corporation can pick up and deliver your jobs as needed. We travel throughout the Chicagoland area as well as the rest of the Midwest with our trucks.

Packaging

Southlake Machine Corporation can package rolls any way our customer requests. We will wrap rolls in wood or can build a custom box for protection in shipping and storage.
